What strengths/expertise do you have to offer?
My great strength is my combination of journalism, business and technical expertise. My most relevant experience is five years of running a community news site.
What kind of help/insight do you hope to get from this community?
This year, I'm very interested in learning about and proliferating information about business models for community journalism.
I think we should use the RJI Collaboratory incubator to develop:
Building blocks for geographic- or topic-based local Web news sites, Business assessment tools for local Web news sites, Backgrounder on web advertising, Clearinghouse of experts to help launch new services
