I was a community newspaper journalist and manager for two decades before getting a Ph.D. and becoming an associate professor at the Missouri School of Journalism. I started one of the very first citizen journalism sites in the U.S. and have broad knowledge in user-generated information. I am an RJI fellow working on mobile phone strategy.
