Experience in network news, public broadcasting, television and radio, building online webcasting services, developing media partnerships, strategic consulting, hands on multimedia production, investigative reporting, writing, researching, connections in business, government, etc.

What kind of help/insight do you hope to get from this community?

Thoughts on possibilities of collaborative news and information ventures, including my own "pingnews" project.

I think we should use the RJI Collaboratory incubator to develop:

Building blocks for geographic- or topic-based local Web news sites, "How-To" handbook, News apps and widgets, Clearinghouse of experts to help launch new services
