Open Government Data Presents New Journalism Opportunities and Legal Challenges
I would like to thank Jane Stevens for inviting me to post on the Collaboratory. I'm a staff attorney at the Citizen Media Law Project at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society. We provide legal assistance, education, and resources for individuals and organizations involved in online and citizen media. We also produce research on free speech, newsgathering, intellectual property, and other legal issues related to online speech.
