What strengths/expertise do you have to offer?

My primary background is in broadcast and print journalism (anchor/reporter/writer/producer/managing editor). In 2008, I launched Small Media & Large, LLC as a communications consulting firm on my own; and Focus on the Good, LLC a media production company with my husband. Together we ran a grassroots political campaign and are in the process of a documentary on our civics social experiment.

What kind of help/insight do you hope to get from this community?

I'm hoping this experience will allow me to meet other journalists/media professionals who are committed to quality and objective reporting. Together I hope we can establish a high set of standards for the future of citizen journalism.
