Conference for Independent Journalists

Hi,
I'd like to get everyone who is bootstrapping a new media venture together or wants to in one place for a weekend conference in San Antonio to learn from one another. Who would be willing to participate? I could set up something for early October.

What do you guys think?

I've created TexasBootstrappers to round up all the Texas-based independent media.

Great idea Laura -- Getting people together beyond the virtual in the proverbial "meat space" can provide a great jolt of energy and amazing exchanges of ideas. One suggestion on using the Collaboratory to do this would be to start by creating your own "group" to start sharing ideas and making plans. You can also use our advanced search tool to seek out other Collab members from TX, or other surrounding states.
